Fernleigh is located on 11 acres with a mix of huge 100 year old gum trees lining the driveway, lots of open space for play and a couple of dams. Meet your hosts during your stay! Monica, Andrew, Alana, Joel, Max and Rosie are a blended family of 6 who have been holidaying in
Goughs Bay for years. A few of us have also lived and worked in the area. Our beautiful Border Collie 'Ash' roams the property doing his routine strolls throughout the day ensuring all the chickens are kept in line! Feel free to give him a big pat, he loves the belly rubs!
Help us to collect our chickens eggs each morning and letting them out of their coup for the day. Collect your scraps from dinner to feed them in the mornings, they love veggies! Our 5 lovely hens roam the property throughout the day scratching up the soil and helping to fertilise our gardens. The chickens are very friendly and enjoy playing with our dog Ash.

Our swimming pool is open to all guests staying with us during summer and spring! Stay tuned as we will be installing solar heating to extend your swim-time! We also will be updating the lounge furniture and pool surrounds to create that relaxing summer vibe. Bring your pool toys, or borrow ours, but definitely don't forget your bathers!
There's a playground area with a full tennis court and a smaller basketball court with plenty of grassed play space for the kids to enjoy all day! Included in the facilities is a communal outdoor BBQ and dining space allowing you to watch the kids play while dinner is prepared. For later in the evening, why not have a drink by the fire pit in the paddock and maybe roast a marshmallow?
